A more detailed view of the crocheting.

Now this pretty little number I only spent $5 on. However, looking at the construction of the garment and the crochet on the bottom, I think it'd be fair to assume that this is worth anywhere from $25- $50. I've had this top for about a year know and yet to wear it simply because it's too long to wear as a top and still too short to wear as a dress. It might be best to find some cute leather leggings and call it a day!

MY Spin on the Trend

I purchased this blouse during the summer and have YET to wear it for some strange reason. Usually I'm always looking for a steal, but when certain pieces ( especially polyester) looks this nice, you can't pass it up. $25 well spent!

'Sheer' Bliss

Gucci's Fall 2011 sheer ensemble best represents a garment that continues to show up in various winter collections. The style seems to be a long, flowing sheer cover paired on top of a more basic silhouette. I think it's darling, especially for the evenings when it seems as though summer isn't quite ready to leave.

From the RUNWAY to YOUR Closet

Below are a few finds that were inspired by pieces straight off the 2011 fall/winter runway. Whether you're a sequin, lace, or feather lover, there are tons of different forms of texture for everyone to choose from. Which pieces would you place in YOUR closet?

Textures Galore

First and foremost I'm growing more and more fond of Alice and Olivia with every collection they produce. It's as if they're speaking to all of us girls who love to be cutesy and edgy all at the same time. Below are three pieces that easily sum up the theme for Fall 2011- texture, texture, and MORE TEXTURE!! From fur, to textured jackets and pants, and bold sequins- anything from this collection can easily be considered a statement piece. Who cares that they mainly used the muted and dark color palette of gray, violet, plum, and black. It matters not when you can create a pair of tastefully designed sequined pants. I'd wear them to ANY New Years party.
